HOUSEMATES
housemates
The magazine about living together
HOUSEMATES is an experimental publication dedicated to the experience and art of living together co-edited by Klara Ingersoll and Klara Kaufman.
HOUSEMATES aims to provide a conscious platform for personal narrative, art, fiction, criticism, photography, poetry, and more, all focusing on the varied experiences of co-living. Using a curious and playful voice, we explore living with others, asking questions about what housemateship is and can be.

How do we live, together?
A Collaborative Speculative Design Workshop
HOUSEMATES Magazine was hosted by Harvard Graduate School of Design Design Research Forum for an interactive, craft-based workshop. Inspired by exquisite corpse design methodology, small groups collaborated to "think with things," using craft materials to co-design speculative spaces for co-living. Together, participants used collage and illustration to think expansively about what it means to live with others.
HOUSEMATES is a forthcoming experimental publication co-edited by
Klara Ingersoll (she/her/hers) and Klara Kaufman (they/them/theirs).
